Unlike traditional telephone and cable utilities, Florida Multi-Media offers asset ownership and revenue sharing for all subscriber services that residents and management use on a per property basis. In 1999, a visionary developer launched an idea to supply the best services he could to residents captive in his own locations. He opened a Competitive Local Exchange Carrier (CLEC) known as Florida Multi-Media Services, Inc. and started supplying services at a fraction of the price of competitors. The vision of the owner was to establish a wholesale Telecommunications and Broadband service company that would provide bundled services and amenities to residents of the company’s new Student Housing Developments. Today, Florida Multi-Media is a licensed, facility based, Telephone Utility. Florida Multi-Media has become a leader in providing wholesale services to the real estate industry in Florida. An on-site technology application provides the highest form of reliable connections, making customer satisfaction the ultimate goal. We own and operate Central Office Switch technology installed in Network Operating Centers (NOCs) in every market we serve. Florida Multi-Media is a licensed Interexchange Carrier, which means we have a license to operate as a long-distance service provider, and a wholesale provider to other carriers. We have established agreements for connectivity to the public network for Voice, E-911 and High Speed Internet. We have dedicated connections to city/county E-911 centers. We have bulk purchase agreements and a diversity of providers for Internet Bandwidth and Domestic and International Long Distance minutes.
